Trust & Data Integrity Policy
How iDPi Property Intelligence keeps listing data accurate — verification, duplicate detection, stale-listing removal, and clearly sourced data.
No badge is self-applied — every one is reviewed by iDPi staff.
Price history is append-only; expired listings are automatically hidden.
Every environmental/market figure is sourced — not one opaque score.
Our Approach to Data
iDPi runs on one rule above every other: never show something as a fact unless it actually is one. Where real data exists, we show it, attributed to where it came from. Where it doesn’t — yet — the page says “not available” instead of a plausible-looking guess. That rule shapes everything below; none of it is a promise of perfection, it’s a description of the mechanisms that actually run.
Verification, Not Self-Certification
Every verification badge on iDPi — Verified Agent, iDPi Verified listing, iDPi Verified Title, iDPi Verified Rental, and per-credential “iDPi Verified” chips — is applied by iDPi staff after review, never switched on by the agent or owner themselves. Full detail on what each one checks lives on How Verification Works.
Keeping Listings Current
A listing that’s gone quiet isn’t assumed to still be available. Every listing expires automatically 60 days after it was published or last refreshed, and is immediately hidden from public search once it does — an agent has to actively confirm it’s still on the market to keep it visible. This runs as a standing check on every search, not a periodic cleanup job that could lag behind.
Duplicate Detection
Every photo uploaded to iDPi is compared against every other photo already on the platform, and flagged for review if it looks like a reused or near-identical copy. Listings themselves go through the same check — a likely-duplicate listing for a unit that already has one is surfaced to iDPi staff rather than left to sit as two competing entries. Where the same unit is legitimately represented by more than one agent, it stays one listing with co-listed agents, not a duplicate.
Price Transparency
Every price a listing has ever had is kept — this is an append-only record, never edited or overwritten. The public “Reduced” badge only ever reflects a genuine, recent decrease from that real history, and a registered account can view a listing’s complete price history, not just the current headline number.
Honest Disclosure Fields
Ownership, title, and rental-term fields are all optional, and a blank one is always shown as “not disclosed by the seller” — iDPi never infers a value it wasn’t given. Sensitive fields, like a certificate number, are stored in full internally but only ever shown to the public in masked form.
Environmental & Market Data, Always Sourced
Flood-risk ratings draw on BNPB InaRISK, JRC/Copernicus, and ThinkHazard (GFDRR/World Bank), each named on the page it appears on — never blended into one unlabeled number. Reported flood events come from PetaBencana.id’s crowdsourced archive, shown separately from the modeled rating rather than mixed into it. The iDPi Property Intelligence panel’s price estimate is built from real comparable listings and, where available, government reference data — it’s a market estimate, not an appraisal, and is labeled as one.
Review Integrity
Agent reviews submitted by the public are held back from view until an iDPi master administrator approves them — a review never goes live automatically the moment it’s submitted.
What We Don't Claim
iDPi doesn’t publish a single proprietary “trust score” that rolls everything into one opaque number. Every signal shown — a verification badge, a flood rating with its source named, a comparable-market estimate — is traceable to a real, described mechanism on this page or on How Verification Works. If we can’t explain where a number came from, we don’t show it.
